Would add a small bit. The panels are quite thick on the case. Way more so than the Meshify C i had. I think that's where most of it is coming from.

Moving from a HAF 932 to an Evolv X, I noticed a lot more metal with very little plastic in the overall construction of the Phanteks case compared to the Coolermaster one.

Id love to move my build into that case but scan done such a great job with cable management etc no doubt my effort would be ****.

    H500?

I actually think the smaller H400 looks better; the colour accents are integrated in a more interesting manner.

I like those NZXT cases but i just can't bring myself to do a front mounted radiator. I think you can top mount in the H700 but Overclockers had 22% off the P600S so went for that.

There's loads of space in it so it's quite easy to route stuff. I don't use mechanical drives so i've loads of space in the basement for cabling.

Aaaand the NZXT H400 would be a no-go for me:

Air cooler under 164mm not supported - mine is 165mm
    and the biggie
    NO RESET BUTTON

Might not bother everyone, but that's a nay from me.

    I've never had a reset button on a case - I don't think I would miss it!

I never used the reset button in my life. If I have a BSOD or what not I just hold down the power button for a couple of seconds.

Just out of curiosity, why not?

One of my older cases i had no option but to run a front radiator and the amount of hot air being dumped in the case was unreal. The fans had to work overtime to expel it. I like quiet.

Scroll back a few pages to my build in the h400i. I'm just using air cooling and it's a fantastic looking case. Very quite under load too. Comes with 3 decent fans and the I version has a some LEDs and a fan controller

That's very nice. I think I need the H500 though as I've an ATX motherboard and I don't think the H400 will fit that size.

Yeah it's micro ATX only to the best of my knowledge. The 500 is still a great looking case.

Hopefully with all the new hardware released recently there will be a lot of new builds on here :)

Lovely looking builds but would love the details of the build too.

Especially useful to lads looking to do their first build.

    Keep em coming. Very cool.

My latest addition was to add a proper desktop amp and speakers to my system along with moving to a hard surface mouse pad.

Nice, I think I've the same speakers - What amp did you get? I've one of the small Lepy ones and thinking of upgrading to something a bit nicer.

EDIT: Just rolled back a few pages and realise I think I had the speakers first and they were your 2019 addition :pac:

Happy with them? (still curious about the amp)

The amp is a Topping MX3 and the speakers are Wharfedale 220's. The MX3 is epic tho as such a tiny box that has Bluetooth and a remote yet can power full-on passive speakers with serious ummph.

Very nice man. How's the motherboard noise-wise with the built-in/onboard fan? Does it run all the time and is there option to turn it off or lower the RPM's in the bios?
