Your PSU is modular or not?

Nope, which means it is going to be an extra pain in the ass and why everything has been sitting in a drawer, waiting to go for over a year now :)

That lacing looks great, haven't seen it before. Another thing to add to the To Do list!

Frank N Stein was the first person I saw doing it. His threads on Hardforum are worth a look if you haven't seen them.

Its a very tidy job alright.

I did all them, and 7 threads on a 8 pin for practice. and i still have about 1m left. you can get 10m's a few € more if you are going to do more than what i did.

Lacing looks great chewy, i used the same video to learn mine. For the cables for power button etc, i cheated a little and made one big cable out of them.

Getting bored with my 800d so I decided it was time for a new case, it arrived today \o/

Apologies in advance for the appalling picture quality, a combination of a **** camera **** lighting and a **** photographer.

Wont be building into it for a couple of weeks yet as there's bills to pay, will be keeping the same hardware (i7 3820, Rampage Formula IV, GTX 780 etc) but adding and upgrading water cooling stuff

Wow smexy case, congrats. Is it the ST10? Did you get it from the US, and if so what was the shipping? Called them a while back and was told about 170 USD to ship to Ireland:(

Reason I ask-thinking about an Enthoo Primo, much prefer a Caselabs if I can get for reasonable money.

Na its the Merlin SM8 i didn't need the massiveness of the ST10 :P, the case and a few other bits worked out at $510 and shipping was $104 flat packed fedex international economy (usps would have worked out at $80)

Saying that i still haven't got done for vat or duty yet but atleast i can sort that out later.

Fancied the Enthoo and 750d my self (900d is just too big for what i'd ever be running) but got that shipping quote and said feck it as id been longing after one these for ages

Love CaseLabs' stuff. Wanted the SM8 initially, but now I really want the new Mercury S8. But like glynf, the cost of shipping and excise duty etc would deter me. :(

Don't worry, Fedex will send you the bill in the post :D

Wondering why you didn't go with USPS for $80? Not only was it cheaper but from my experience one has a less than 50% chance of being hit for customs and Vat via USPS. Its the same the world over apparently. The national/ex-national carriers always seem to 'hand-over' to their opposite numbers in the destination country. ie. USPS -> An Post, USPS -> Royal Mail etc. Ironically it is the national carriers that are less likely to impose Customs and Vat for whatever reason, unlike Couriers like Fedex/UPS/DHL etc who actually charge you a handling fee to process customs so its in their interests to charge the Customs and Vat. I've saved literally thousands in Customs and Vat over the last 5 years without any shenanigans with declared values or anything, merely by picking the USPS option. Twas a 75%+ chance of getting through unmolested for me before they expanded the capacity of the Portlaoise Customs sorting centre.

Oh, and..........................Killer Case!!!!! Its like Christmas morning in the Grim household :D

I probably would have if i knew then what i know now about fedex but sure i'll get it paid whenever it arrives and be done with it. you live and learn!

will use usps for any smaller accessories from now on though

you have no idea! i was barely able to sleep last night :P

Pity no one this side of the pond sells them. Though Overclockers use them for their 8 pack systems, they don't sell them separately-and I asked nicely. Unless you buy a 10k Stg pre-built endorsed by a roid monkey :P
