Seriously guys, and especially Sully....you're not doing this forum or any forum any good but having this attitude. Isn't it better to try and get feedback from students and people new to waterford than to come on here and start advertising stuff?

Well, yes and no. I see where your coming from and thats why this topic is still open and your still posting on here. Im waiting for an admin/smod to give the final say before anything is done.

I can see why there is hesitation - a lot of your posts refer to the clubs you work with (as did your other account, stinger-bar - you do know that multiple accounts isnt permitted on Boards ya?) and its seen as marketing/shilling to the benefit of the company you work for (even if it does benefit Boardsises in the end).

Id like to see that type of market research, but not for free via Boards.ie. Its abusing what this community is all about (Boards.ie in general). Everyone else has to pay to advertise, why should you be allowed do your market research for free?

But, I wont make that decission - ill leave it up to the Smods/Admins

Stinger bar was actually a customer of one of the bars who now works with me....I liked his style (I can assure you though, it wasn't me, some of his methods wouldn't be my own)

That's a fair enough reply though.

And I have posted about many other things too. What I'm doing is trying be mutually beneficial to both business and city.

Well, I know. Its still something im not comfortable with, as its advertising and benefits you - which is where you should pay Boards for market research.

But the response I've got so far doesn't warrant it to be honest. I'd have absolutely no problem with giving some money to boards but what would I get in return? A more leniant attitude towards trying to develop our city? Not all the ideas that I've put forward have been a direct benefit to Tweedy bars. I'd love to see the whole other side of town come alive...but the problem is, if I say anything it's labelled as being spam. Stinger bar, whom I didn't know personally when he first posted here was originally looking to put a team together for the battle of the businesses but he got stoned the poor fella. So I gave him a job out of pity!

Seriously though, all I want to see happen is a city that people will talk about in other parts of the country, why should everywhere else get all the limelight and good ideas. DIT did this and it was great...Galway is brill cause of this and that...nothing about waterford.

I don't blame you if you think I'm pimping where I work for, that's an easy conclusion to come to, but it's not the whole truth.

Unless someone tells me differently (ie an Smod/Admin) then the ban stands. stinger-bar is banned from Regional by the CMod and I am enforcing that in the forums I moderate as I have been told your account is also the stinger-bar account (same person, two accounts).

If I am mistaken, I have no issues removing the ban. For now, it stands.
