    hi
does anyone know if this license type is supported in ireland and if it`s possible to exchange a foreign E into an irish one?

somebody told me it should be possible as Ireland is a CEPT country but what is it in reality?

    thanks+73

Ireland has only two classes of CEPT license. 1, and 2.

They both have equal operating priviledges, only the difference being the callisgn, the former has two, the latter 3 letters

This may be the German National Licence. It may be acceptable for operating here.

The "E" may not refer to CEPT but the local variations.

Is the "E" the German Novice class? There is a CEPT Novice class.

yes, that is a cept novice but as i found out not accepted in ireland, only cept a+b are recognised here.

    Possibly valid in UK.

IRTS should lobby for a Novice class here.
