I just hope that the whole city thing wasn't just him calling united's bluff. Maybe he was pushing for higher wages from united or something. It all sounds a bit too suspicious anyway. I really really hope he goes to city though.

Well apparently he's currently on trial with us and we seem to be heading the race to get him ahead of Madrid and Milan and the guy is being tipped as the new Messi!

...probably is until Ade leaves!

I don't see the point in signing Agbonlahor as he's a poor finisher and we're about to get rid of one of those in Ade. I don't think he would be any better than our backup strikers either so, what's the point???

Not enough silky passing, maybe it's just the pitch though.
Have a feeling Rosicky and Arshavin are going to go off and we haven't really get any stand out impact subs so should be a tight second half.

Nice one anyway thanks to Arsene again for bringing his boys up to Underhill. Certainly a good way to get the season going from a financial perspective. Now all he needs to do is to loan us out a few of his young starlets and we'd be truly grateful

Weird interview with Rosicky there at the end - not that it stopped me getting a bit emotional to see him giving any kind of post-match interview of course :pac: Deadly to have him back.

I wouldn't worry too much about Vermaelen - the basics looked good, good passer of the ball and decent positioning to sniff out a few chances. He could've been sharper on the second goal, bit flat-footed, but it's only 18 July so we don't really want anyone to be killing themselves just yet.
