Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Received my Xbox from MS after getting RROD issue. Get a text from the wife, XBOX is back, kids are testing.

    Get home, look at the device, isnt mine.

    Check serial numbers - my device ..... odd.

    How did my faceplate change from the standard white setup to a Stranglehold faceplate?

    Think they throw them in for free on some consoles. Either that or they have a bucket of faceplates and just throw on a random one after they've closed back up your console :P

    Thats really weird. Mine is due back on Thursday according to the UPS website. Wouldn't say no to a free faceplate!! :D

    No way, mine is due back tomorrow too and I wouldn't be happy with that t'all. It'd be different if they threw in a freebie along with your original faceplate. Like you said, no biggie but still, it's just another annoying detail to add to the list when dealing with the RROD.

    Probably 5 days transit, 5 days fixing, 5 days transit - 2/3 weeks in total.

    Yeah UPS picked mine up on the 4th of July and it's scheduled for delivery tomorrow. So that's 13 days all going to plan. Think that's as quick as you can hope for.
