Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Robbed this table from CCFC forum;

    27 Finland 1.666 2.333 1.333 2.625 0.333 8.290 3/ 3
    28 Slovenia 3.500 2.333 1.250 0.666 0.333 8.082 3/ 3
    29 Latvia 3.166 1.333 2.166 1.333 0.000 7.998 3/ 3
    30 Poland 2.500 1.125 2.625 1.666 0.000 7.916 3/ 3
    31 Lithuania 2.500 1.333 1.833 1.500 0.333 7.499 3/ 3
    32 Ireland 1.333 1.833 2.833 1.000 0.333 7.332 3/ 3
    33 Hungary 4.166 1.000 1.000 1.000 0.000 7.166 3/ 3
    34 Bosnia-Herzegovina 1.666 1.500 1.833 1.833 0.333 7.165 3/ 3
    35 Moldova 1.500 1.666 1.500 1.333 0.000 5.999 3/ 3
    36 Georgia 2.666 0.666 1.166 1.000 0.333 5.831 3/ 3

It's the coefficient table after the results in the Champions League last night. It's too early to read anything into the table, but if things go according to plan we should jump up the table this year. We were 35th before last night.

There shouldn't be any major surprises for either City or Haka tonight. Both clubs have scouted each other. Both teams are on good runs in their leagues and are only missing one first choice player each, Flynny has a broken ankle, and Popovitch has a fear of flying. It'll be a cracking match.

Are you going to the game PureCork? Here is me hoping Mooney scores a hat-trick.

    Don't know much about Haka.

John O'Flynn is a big loss, but Behan will has done well in the last few weeks with his brief appearances. He will be up for it.

We always are strong at home in europe. A 2 goal lead is my prediction to take over to Finland.

Both teams should win tonight. Especially Pats, if they don't get through this tie over the two legs they might as well give up with playing European football.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 21,296 ✭✭✭✭gimmick

On the plus side, John O Flynn has not broken or fractured his ankle, and could be back as soon as 4 weeks time.

Really don't know what to expect later, given our esteemed managers past European exploits.

Not going so not too bothered.

Olimps down to ten men already.

No way I'd miss it! European football is special.

I hope we can keep a clean sheet. There'll probably be only one change to the team that faced Harps, with Behan replacing Flynny. As applehunter said, Behan will give 100% and he's done fairly well whenever he's come on this season.

Let's go Pat's....down to ten men....they are there for the taking...away goal is crucial.

€500,000 traded on the Pats match alone on Betfair. Red card in the first 10mins. Match-fixing?

Damn right. Pat's have a point to prove after last year's dismal performance.

It'll be tight, but, based on current form, you'd have to expect Cork to come away with a win. Having said that, I hear Haka aren't doing too bad in their own league?

That was some drop by Hungary in the seedings. They could go much further down if they have another bad season this year.

/edit it appears this is the best site for the updates:
    www.livescores.net

They have Pats leading 1 nil at least 7 or 8 minutes now.

city game has a lady ref for the first time in a european comp apparently...

    FT: Olimps 0 - 1 Pats

The expected result for Pats. Apparently it was all Pats in the second half. They probably should've scored more. Hopefully they'll finish the job in the second leg, there's no excuse. 0.666 so far. Let's hope City can get the right result. I'm off.

I don't think Cork will get through against Haka. Finnish league isn't too bad. Maybe a draw tonight. Hope i'm wrong though.

Ya, Haka one up against the run of play. Mistake from Pat Sullivan let them in. City for their part have created very little.

    Mooney for Ireland.

Not before he gets on the magic plane, and goes on the magic flight to England, where in a matter of days he will be transofrmed into an international class player.

    Has he scored or something?

Yeah listened to some of it on the radio. Cork had plenty of possession but their final ball was pants. They'll win this game now. Two away goals is a killer though.

Nope. It's far from an "embarrassment" though. What were you expecting? A 5-0 walk in the park?
