Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Going travelling...

    Hi guys,
I have always wanted to go travelling. At the moment I don't have a whole lot of money to do so and the only person I would go with is my bf of one year. Already did a J1 in San Fran for 3 months.

I would like to go to Oz and visit a few places on the way there and back. Would like to go interrailing also. All in all maybe a few months in Oz, a month or so travelling on the way there and back, and maybe a month interrailing.

Can anyone tell me roughly how much money I would need to save up to do all this? I am 22 and am panicking that I won't be able to get it all done by 30 (max age for Oz visa). But at the same time I would not want to go for a while. Maybe I could save up some money and get a loan for the rest?

    BPE

If your not going for a while start saving with the credit union. They'll give you a loan no bother if you show you can save and while your away you can do a deal where you're only paying back the interest on the loan. Bank will most likely do the same but they'll be more likely to look for guarantee of job when you return etc. Plus the credit union will give a better interest rate.

Good luck. I hope you get the money together. I'm off travelling in 49 days. Can't wait!
