Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Trance tunes from the 2000s that should be considered classics

I know there is debate on the web about the quality of trance in this decade but....what tunes should be considered classics, ones you'll be listening to a decade from now?

    My favourites:

    Liquid Sky - Psychoterapia (2001)
Mark Norman - Phantom Manor (2004)
    1200 Mics - LSD (2003)
The Green Martian - Industry - Durango 95 mix (2001)
Meteor 7 - Universal Music - DJ Scot Project remix (2002)
    Marcel Woods - Advanced (2005)
    Marco V - Simulated (2001)
    Graham Gold - The Ending - (2004)

Plenty more, too much to mention, mostly from the first half of the decade

Yes, yes, yes, I know it's Paul Van Dyk, but gotta admit I liked 'Nothing But You' which I think was this century.

I thought liking trance was something people eventually grew out of? 21st century (non-psychedelic) trance is dire.

Bandied around frequently, blatently not true - ever seen a trance event in Europe? Crowd will be in their 30s (same age as most other dance events there).

Also, the fact that the producers and DJs are clearly not 17...

I think everyone that I know that still is in love with trance meets that general discription. People here start out with Trance, go to some kind of hardstep, then either Drum & Bass or Breaks.

Usually potheads like Drum & Bass around here LoL
