I'm selling my car and want to have it running at its best for when i do. I'm going to change the oil and air filter and have changed the plugs. Is there any best way to do so, ie, tips on taking old oil out, or things to avoid doing. Or just how to do it full stop.. Any help is much appreciated. GM

i just found this video on it..

    seems pretty comprehensive

the air filter is just a black cover with clips on it usually about a 3/4 of a foot by quarter of a foot, just open the cover, take out the old one and pop in the new one.

make sure the engine is warm when draining the oil, it'll flow out quicker and take more of the crap with it

You can drain the bung and filter at the same time. Countless of what's in the video. Its better that way. You have a jap car so Im guessing you'll need a 14mm spanner and a oil filter wrench.

+1 on the Oil Filter Wrench. Great little tool to have.

Remember when draining the oil remove the filler cap, oil will run quicker from the slump.
