Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So I was browsing through youtube for a video, and I came across some of the funniest comentary I've ever heard.

It was American commentators spouting on about something they knew nothing about, so I did a search for a few more.

Some of these are roll on the floor funny ("release the kraken!!!":D)

    Voronin Goal Against Tolouse

Riise With A Kraken Against Celtic

    Great Hustle By Owen

    Surely there must be more.:D

    Quality!

A friend and I used to play Fifa 98 and play against each other using MLS teams and do our own version of awful American commentator's commentary as a pishtake.

    Dante Washington ftw!

Spanks it in to the upper 90!

    Yeah? Well.... just....... wait.....oh...darn

:( Ok darn it, I can't defend this.

I've heard Irish commentary though, that isn't much better.

I'd imagine as much hiliarity is to be got if you're American and have to endure Ger Canning commentating on basketball :)

Spot on, Listening to Irish or British commentators for baseball or American Football games is just painful.

Your thinkin of Sid Waddell, legend of a man for darts and pool. The guy in the clips sounds a lot like him, makes a lot of similar comments but not quite as good. Id say sid is his role model or something..

    A few Sidism's

"That's the greatest comeback since Lazarus."

"Jocky Wilson ... what an athlete."
    img03.jpg

"When Alexander of Macedonia was 33 he cried salt tears because there were no more worlds to conquer - Bristow is only 27"

"The atmosphere is so tense, if Elvis walked in with a portion of chips, you could hear the vinegar sizzle on them"

"Big Cliff Lazarenko's idea of exercise is sitting in a room with the windows open taking the lid off something cool and fizzy."

"There hasn't been this much excitement since the Romans fed the Christians to the Lions."

"The players are under so much duress, it's like duressic park out there!"

"John Lowe is striding out like Alexander the Great conquering the Persians"

"This guy's so good, he could play without arms!"

"Even Hypotenuse would have trouble working out these angles"

"James Wade is a bag of nerves, like a bag of ice cold spanners in a sack."

"Steve Beaton - The adonis of darts, what poise, what elegance - a true Roman gladiator with plenty of hair wax."

Thats Ray Hudson. He is brilliant. Some more "Hudsonisms":

"There will be some loving going on tonight in the bedrooms of Madrid".

Also the guy in the first post is Max Bretos:

All this reminds me of Beckhams recent goal for LA Galaxy where he scored from inside the 50% line.
