what are amd processors like these days havent looked at them or followed thier spec in a few years. Meaning I havent seen any publisity for them around the web which cant b a good thing? OP bear in mind you'll need a monitor unless you already have one for this.

thing i always liked about these aldi / lidl pc's was they had everything and the kitchen sink in terms of ports and connections lol this is even has a pretty much no extinct HD drive :D

    Hello everybody ,

I revive this topic from 2008 (!) because i have the same PC and some questions also .
As you can see above at specifications it comes with DVB-T tuner installed .
The thing is it can only play mpeg-2 digital tv channels . it can also receive mpeg-4 encoded tv channels but it translates them as radio and i can only hear but not watch them .
So my question is , is there any driver i can download and install to make it play mpeg-4 digital tv channels too ? or is there any other solution to my problem ?

thanxs in advance for your replies !

    JIMMY.

    Hi Sedix,

As the thread is 4 years old I'm going to lock it to avoid confusion. Regarding the TV Card if it only supports only MPEG2 video decoding then I doubt a simple driver would make it MPEG4 compatible. You could buy a new TV card being one option that supports MPEG4 video, these are PCI cards generally which are very easy to swap out. Make a new thread if you need more advice :)

    Nick
