very hard to find as far as i know.

And usually you wont get one unless your known around the place that its being hired. I tried to hire one down in Baltimore last year and was told unless i was a local or known by the locals i was out of luck.

Generally someone in the club might loan you one...? Or you can certainly get out in a rescue boat if your wanting either!

I know for the topaz nationals in wexford recently, if you just went down you would get crew on a boat or if you were talking to the organisers a few days before they would hook up a boat for you!
