    Hi - Can anyone recommend a cheap tiler who does a good job. Im looking for someone to tile my bathroom. Lucan area.

    no such thing.

    good tillers cost money.

    From my experience, there are loads of foreign lads and apprentices who will cheap job. but you will get what ya pay for.

    I just got a job done by Jamie Draper
    085 *******
    about 22sqm including everything except the tiles for 950
    He also waterproofed the whole bath shower area which added about 150.

    Happy with the job (for once):rolleyes:

    Got a job done from a tiler in Lexilip..Done an excellent job and he was quiet reasonable in price.

    Recommended him to someone else and they thought he was excellent to.

    Have a look at www.onlinetradesmen.com you post the description of your job and get quotes sent to you by tradesmen. They only allow qualified tradesmen join.

    Whats a "qualified" tiler? or plumber?
    The only qualifications I know are RECI and the Gas Installers. Are there other regulations for other trades?

    As far as I know FAS offer an Apprenticeship for tiling these days
