Dublin Bus - 39x bus-Clonsilla to City Centre

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody could tell me how long it would take the 39x bus to get from the new ongar road to kildare street on an average morning?

The timetable says it takes 90 mins from ongar to belfield. I'll soon be moving to Clonsilla and would like to know what mode of transport is the best to get into the dublin 2 side of town.

Maybe an hour on the bus? The train is much faster.

If you're moving to Clonsilla, there is Clonsilla train station - most trains run to Tara and Pearse.

You'd probably cycle it in 60~70mins. Car or train is the only alternative. I just wouldn't get the buses. They take forever. Get the train and leave a old bike where you get off, or bring a fold up. Buy a scooter?

Can someone tell me whats the best area in clonsilla to live close as possible to the train station???

Portersgate, Mount Symon or Castlefield are all within 10 minutes walk of station.

Train line is toward the bottom of this map.
