Does it work out better to opt for one of the Thomas Cook deals and then book flights or to get everything yourself separately?

Depends on the game, the Cat C games look reasonable but the cheapest package for Liverpool for example is £169 pps for a twin room, and that's staying in a Holiday Inn in Chingford (the hotel is working out about £180). You can definitely find cheaper accommodation than that (Jurys Inn in Islington is £131 b&b for the same night)

Plus the tickets for Thomas Cook are East/West Stand Upper which are bloody expensive. Get a lend of a membership and you could save a good few quid in the Paxton or Park Lane.

I'd always advise fellas to do everything themselves but each to their own

Would there be any chance getting two tickets for the Newcastle match? Or where's the best place to look

I know it's a bit late in the day to be looking

Anyone know where I would get 2 tickets for Liverpool game? Thanks.

  • Registered Users Posts: 642 ✭✭✭CrabieCrawford

Yeah been keeping an eye on it. Do they usually get cheaper nearer the match or should I just buy now.

They've come down a good bit since I started looking, but would buy now if I thought there would start to go up again

Couldn't say for definite tbh, gut feeling is that if the tickets aren't selling close to the date then they'll drop in price but I've not paid much attention to it since it came in (other than to check prices for Norwich in September which were stupidly expensive a few weeks before)

Yeah they've gone from 130 a few weeks ago to 70 each for two seats together. Maybe they'll come down after thurs night game. Plus the fact that Newcastle is such a distance away, there may not be as many travelling supporters. Wishful thinking maybe
