LOL. Priceless. You think Rex was = not wrong when he refused to help him in the dance task too?

It's not spin. The guy is a bully and has been having a go at pretty much everyone in there. You don't seem to realise that behind the so-called 'jest' is a very nasty undertone.

    Pot Kettle Black?

No that whole sausage incident was out of line.

I think you have it sewed up with regards blinkers to call Darnell a fencesitter is staggering stuff!

Sharpshooter do you think he is that aswell?

You keep remarking how you find it amazing myself and sharpshooter could think this way and yet you have yet to offer your own view on Darnell's comments that he will 'choose his battles' and not get involved.

The fact you call me blinkered is the real case of Pot Kettle Black. ;)

darnell doesnt wnat to get involved in a fight with rex
    a) because he feels he'd lose
    b) because he feels rex isnt nominating him ATM, so why stir the pot?! nice to have allies in the house.

    Rex was wrong.
lf Mikey was at home and cooking for himself he would
most likely have a grill of some kind.
l doubt he would cook with a pan full of hot oil.
To suggest to Mikey to shake the sausages was
and Rex should be ashamed of himself , knowing the dangers in a kitchen.
Why else would Mikey ask for help.

For the whole 11 weeks he has been the most vocal and opinionated person in Big Brother and there is no denying that.

He is so far off the fence the fence is a dot to him, he makes one comment about chooseing battles in all the time he has been there and you pounce upon it.

Yet there is this huge thread about Rachel being a fencesitter and you back her 100% and there is noway you can justify her been as vocal as Darnell has been?

    You might well be right.
For the whole 11 weeks he has been the most vocal and opinionated person in Big Brother and there is no denying that.

Wrong. He was the most vocal and opinionated in the first couple of weeks, hell I was one of his biggest fans, but since then he has become VERY paranoid and far less vocal. He spends most of the time worrying about how he is perceived.
He is so far off the fence the fence is a dot to him, he makes one comment about chooseing battles in all the time he has been there and you pounce upon it.

Bollocks. Sure he has said to Mo that he feels Sara was playing a game with him and that he was not going to do anything about it. He has said to Mikey he feels Rex wields too much influence in the house but he doesn't want to do anything about it. He has spoken about Kat behind her back saying she is more clever than she lets on.

This is not the Darnell from the first few weeks who said things to people's faces and if you think it is you're kidding yourself.

You have resorted to your dodging tricks and have refused to give an opinion on Darnell's comments to Mikey.

That thread is huge because Rachel is a notable housemate and it doesn't centre on her being a fence-sitter at this stage does it?

Sure even you've acknowledged yourself how she has stood up to the Whisper Club.

just on these two, the other night in bed he said to rex how he saw him being the puppetteer and being in control of all the other housemates. this was his way of letting rex know that he sees what he is doing, while still being friendly with him, probably a much more sensible way of approaching it than attacking. this way, rex and him remain friends, but he lets him know he's watching rex's controlling from the outside, not the inside.

as for Kat, I thought he had also said it to Kats face?

i call my mates arseholes and much worse lots. people can have qualities u like, and qualities you dont like, and its up to you to weigh up the two and decide whether they're worth being friends with. Rex can think Mo is a selfish arsehole, but still be friends. I think one of my mates is a total cnut, who is so self absorbed it infuriates me, but i know he'd always be there for me. i bithc about him to others, but we're close as hell. nobodies perfect, a good relationship is based on facing the facts of the other parties.

You can do that because " You are mates ".
They cannot say the same because of the time limit they have to get to know each other, there are no true friends in there, even Rachel and Kat are together because they gelled , not because they are mates who have known each other like you know your mates.:)

Of course Darnell is. The guy has an opinion on practically everything. I accept that totally. When it comes to showing those opinions at the crucial moment though - to the people who need to hear them - Darnell has sadly failed to do so in recent times in my opinion.

    Don't you think that's true?

I think by laughing and joking about it he made it seem like he was fine with what Rex was doing. I bet if Darnell stood up to Rex about these things he'd probably be the hot favourite to win.

u cant be mates with someone after hanging out with them for 11 weeks non stop?! are you kidding?!?

I was only thinking this evening how funny it is that rachel will have kat round to visit her parents and stuff!! :D

People become good friends in much less time than that.

Yeah but they alwasy talk about how good friends they are and how they will see each other after the show.

I think it could be very easy to be still friends with people after this length of time. Its a different enviroment than normal life so you make close bonds and attachments.

I know Spiral and Glyn are still friends he invited him over here awhile ago.

he made it seem like he was fine with it to rex yes, but let him know he wasnt falling for it. it was quite clever from darnell. If darnell stood up to rex, it would be quite possible he'd be up for nomination, as he has pissed a lot of people off lately, so he's keeping allies on his side. remember, he doesnt know how people on the outside percieve him, and has very low self esteem, so doesnt want to be up cos he's sure he'll go.

I agree it was clever in the sense that it kept him from burning bridges but it might not be too clever in the long run with the public.

I don't believe that Darnell still thinks he'll go if up for eviction because didn't Rex tell him that he feels judging by Nicole's attitude that Darnell is the most popular with the public?

l said earlier that l thought the Vegas Task was BB getting a dig in at Rex , looks like l am right.:D
    See last sentence.:D

    C4 Website:

    It's a musical variety extravaganza...
Ooh la la! For this week's shopping task, housemates will experience the glitz and glamour of the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas.
On Day 1, Head of House Mohamed will choose housemates to play the roles of illusionist and glamorous assistant (who will learn and perform a mind boggling illusion), casino croupiers (who will each learn a sequence of six playing card flourishes), Elton John and Kiki Dee (who will learn and perform their smash hit, 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart') and an escapologist, who must learn to free themselves from a straitjacket.

Housemates will perform a Las Vegas variety show this evening. If they perform to Big Brother's satisfaction they will receive a luxury shopping budget of £5 per head per day. But will what happens in Vegas stay in Vegas?

    :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

    Anyone catch this yet?
    Darn: 'You're an ugly bitch'

DARNELL'S diplomacy skills hit an all-time low tonight when he called his on-again off-again love interest Sara, an “ugly bitch”.

The rude dig came as the albino songwriter recalled the Aussie flirt’s hopes of kindling a romance with Stu.

Heartbroken Darnell pointedly told her “I think you’re a cool person, but you’re an ugly bitch.”

Darnell later mused that BB fans would be disgusted with his remark.

    No kidding!

The wannabe rap star’s jibe came just moments after Sara had another argument with Rex about sharing cigarettes, sending the 27 year old into a teary silence.

    http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/big_brother/article1607395.ece

Darnell's actually dropped down to 8-1 to win the show and is now behind Lisa.

With stuff like this you have to feel he's going to make more enemies than friends.

Darnell threatened to walk this morning after growing tired of feeling "angry" and "bitter" in the house.

Speaking to his fellow housemates in the bedroom, Darnell admitted that he is ready to go home after arguing with many of the others in recent days.

Rex immediately questioned why he was so keen to return to his old life, pointing out: "You go on and on about how there's nothing for you after the show."

Darnell would not be deterred, however, claiming that he just needed to "muster up the effort" to make his final decision.

When Rex claimed that Darnell would never leave the house at such a late stage, he warned: "I'm not playing, dude."

Lisa was equally sceptical about Darnell's threats to quit, telling him: "You might as well not even think about it now, Darnell. Anyone who went now would be crazy."

"There's obviously something wrong with me, I'm never happy," he replied. "I'm so angry, I'm so bitter." He added: "I'd do this just for you guys to get in the final."

    l wish he'd do something.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

ya threatening to walk for weeks is boring, christ, we all know where the door is. If i was in there id be telling him to just put up and go.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,755 ✭✭✭tylerdurden94

I feel like its if Darnell didnt draw this attention to her and make people feel sorry for her she wouldnt even really be spoken about.
