Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Radio 1 reception

    Anyone else notice that Radio 1 reception on FM is almost always poorer quality with more hiss than their main rivals such as Newstalk & Today FM?

    For the last while all RTÉ channels have been poor. Must be doing something at the transmitter.

    Location? As Mossy said, it could be the transmitter. Can you receive Radio 1 from a few frequencies, from a few transmitters, and if so, is it the same across all of them? There is a good bit of work taking place on RTÉ NL transmitters across the summer.

    Newstalk is in mono, Radio 1 is in stereo; Today FM has more music, and they recently moved into new studios.
