Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A 5 year ban lasts for 5 years, not for 8 years.

Well a ban means you can't have a license, so that wouldn't make much sense would it... you may be thinking of penalty points...

    No that's not true.

The ban (disqualification) does not relate to a person's licence but to the person themselves.

So a 5 year ban means that a person is disqualified from holding a licence for a period of 5 years. After which they can hold a licence if they wish.

Thats penalty points. If Bob (who doesn't have a licence) is a passenger and gets caught not wearing his seat belt and gets one point, when he applies for his licence, that one point is there for 3 years.

When he gets his licence an endorsement will be on it for 3 years
