Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok this might seem like an odd thread, but i assure you its not!

Ive been trying for a long time to get the right playlist for playing while im working out at the gym. I try tee up adrenaline fueled metal with some aggression and edge! I can never get the mix right! I use my playlists to keep me running on the threadmill!

Some surprise track have a better effect than I expected, e.g. Ash's 'Orpheus' (even though i dont like Ash) can be motivating.

So i need you fellow boardsies to help me put something together!

Alice in Chains - Dam That River
Alter Bridge - Ties That Bind
Bowling for Soup - Girl All the Bad Guys Want
CKY - 96 Quite Bitter Beings
    Cold - Stupid Girl
    Disturbed - 10000 Fists
Eagles of Death Metal - I Want You so Hard
    Godsmack - Moon Baby
Guns n Roses - My Michelle
Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart
    Kula Shaker - Hush
    Lit - Lipstick and Bruises
    Metallica - Sweet Amber
Muse - New Born, Supermassive Black Hole
    Otep - Breed
Placebo - Every Me, Every You
Queens of the Stone Age - Lost art of Keeping a Secret
Rage Against the Machine - Know Your Enemy
    Seether - Fake It
    Sepltura - Born Stubborn
    Sid Vicious - My Way
Silverchair - Anthem for the Year 2000
    Slipknot - Before I Forget
The Buzzcocks - Ever Fallen In Love
    The Offspring - Hit That

    Pantera's far beyond driven album.

    you'll thank me later.

All of Pantera's Vulgar Display of Power. Also, Meshuggah works well. Trying to comprehend what they're doing and figuring out the patterns keeps your mind off the pain.

meshuggah would be too much rhythm changing madness for me to work out with. i usually stick to a healthy diet of rammstein and other such german-industrial type stuff.

There was a similar thread not so long ago, you might find some inspiration there.

For me, anything from Testament's 'The Gathering' (and the new album more recently). Some other regular bands on my playlists are Rob Zombie, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Sepultura, Pantera and Slayer.

I'd go for Fear Factory's 'Demanufacture' album. Good faced paced stuff in it.

Slayers reign in blood or NIN's downward spiral, the first four or five tracks. After that it gets...Less energetic.Clutch can be good too.
