First Time....Where and How?

Hows it going people?

Im going to get my first tatoo done soon and am just looking for a bit of advice. I want to get a tatoo of Jesus on the crucifix and was just wondering on where I could get this done? Is there anywhere that specialises in religious tatoos? Could I just walk into a parlour with a picture of what I want or would they have pictures of similar work that they might have done? Because the trouble is I havent seen "the" particular one I want all do while browsing on the internet I have seen some I like..........maybe I could print the picture of bring it in with me and explain what why I would like it to be?

Sorry for all the naive questions guys its jus I really wanna get a tatoo that means someth to me and I want it to be right!

The lads in classic ink were really helpfull to me, when i was talking to them about the design i want, even knowing i wasnt going to be able to get anything done for anouther 4 months.
Tommy's work seems really nice from what i've seen, try there maybe?

That's really th only place i've had enough time to have a propper conversation with anyone, plus im more of a piercing head than a tattoo head, other should be along to help.

i think you need to be thinking of it less as 'who does good religious tattoos' and more, 'who does good tattoos with people on them'... you don't want some idiot messing up the face or anything on you.

go into any of the recommended shops, and check out the portfolios, see who does stuff in a style you like, talk to the artist, show them a few ideas of what you're thinking and talk about how/where you want it done.
