02 broadband and ps3

    can o2 broadband be connected with the ps3 not that techi minded so any help would be apreciated

    Not directly. The only way to do it would be use a router with USB modem connection available (expensive) or use Internet Connection Sharing on a Windows PC, and connect the PS3 to that.

    All this may be a waste of time, depending on the performance of the O2 connection at your location. Poor pings will ruin your gameplay.

    It's far too slow unfortunately even at max speed assuming you could connect them which would not be straight forward either.

    You can now buy wireless routers that have a connection for your 3G modem thus allowing it to be shared, look 'em up on Google.

    It might connect but it wont be fast enough. At best it's 7.2 mbps, you'll be doing well to get 100kps.
