Yeah they're from earlier in the season - I have a huge backlog of photos I'll be going through over the coming weeks
Vast majority of them would be half red/half black now, there'd be barely any that look like those above now - maybe the odd first-time breeder that started very very late this season.0 -

A Red Squirrel made it's home in a scots pine tree right beside the house, I cant see the last three quarters of it when I look out the window it's that close.
And for a while now I've enjoying watching the only one red that was born there, (from the bedroom window):D.
That's a branch of an elder tree it's on, the two trees are together.0 -
