It's just a couple of white feathers. This is common among Rooks and is very different to semi lecustic or albino birds.

Looks more like a female with more brown on her and the small bit I can see on her breast isn't as orange as a males
She's feather perfect and they will definitely cop that birds be hanging around a bird feeder so it's easy prey so they're very smart

And it also seems to be because of the size, although there is no clear reference on the picture to state that.

    Very nice photo :)

This was taken about two years ago in the same garden. Killed a thrush which it is standing over. Not sure if it is the same bird as above or below.

Handholding the phone? I got an adapter for taking photos thru the binocs an scope that works pretty well.

It would be nice if we could share photos we have on the phone thru the boards app as it would make it easier to post but I will try to put a few sometime todays.

Keps, they're some great shots above, but the male Blackbird one is particularly gorgeous! Very nice work!

Thanks- now if only I knew which one that was:)

    ( I joke - I am improving - if slowly)

Strangely enough - I think the branch shadows 'lift' the photo to a degree

They give it context too - the Blackbird isn't just on the branch, he's in amongst the branches!

One last one for today - and it's a repeat.

When I looked at the Grey Squirrel above - I thought it looked as though he had a walking stick?

    So I zoomed in a bit:eek:

    No tricks

Yes I handheld the phone but I had the binoculars on a tripod. I never knew you could get an adaptor for this purpose. I must look it up. Thanks for the recommendation.
