Had a Blackcap in the back garden everyday in Jan to mid Feb- used to eat apples like there was no tomorrow- then one day he was gone!

So delighted to see this fellow down in Lucan Demesne today- maybe it's the same guy

Nice finds sumtings. Spot on with the saxifrage & toadflax but I think the Snowdrop pic is actually Summer Snowflake Leucojum aestivum.

I opened the lid of my composting bin about an hour ago and I found these chaps on top! Does anyone know what they are (well, apart from mushrooms obviously...:p)? Thanks. :)

You must have one steady hand! :D
I've a Tamron 90mm. macro myself, and have never been happy with my macros of insects; I use it mainly for flower shots.
Again, nice work and I look forward to seeing more of the same in the future.

I think it's more difficult to spot them when they don't wear a hat with a pom-pom and a red and white stripey jumper and round glasses... Anyway that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. :o

Thanks Tombstone, I thought that was a shadow on the rock! :)
