    A few more...

In the case of the Mandarin Duck, are his head feathers that way because they are wet or is it due to something else?

If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say it's a young duck in the middle of getting his adult feathers.

    Great, great photos, Thundercat.

    Hotei, those cubs are adorable...

Thanks, means a lot. I'm only new to this so great to hear some positive feedback. I think I'll start putting up the photos straight from the SD card rather than wirelessly as I'm losing quality that way due to the images being compressed to a smaller file size I think.

And Hotei, amazing images of that fox cub.

    Thanks ThunderCat.
By the way, did you ever consider using a Photo Share site like Flickr to upload your images here. It's quick and easy to sign up to and it's free. When you upload an image to Flickr, you can then copy and paste the URL of that image to this thread. The image quality is excellent, so might be worth considering.

Thanks for the tip Hotei, I'll sign up to Flickr later/tomorrow in that case and see what my photos turn out like that way. So when you upload your photos to Flickr are you taking them directly from the SD card in your camera and is Flickr keeping the full size/resolution of the image?

Yeah, you can take them straight from your SD card. To be fair you do lose a bit of quality in the images, however, I noticed when I used to upload images the way you have done above, that those images also had lost some clarity and sharpness, so it's much of a muchness really. Give it a go!

Yea the way I have been doing it is wirelessly getting the images onto my phone from the camera using a canon app and then from my phone I've been uploading them to here, but whereas typically the file is 3.5 or 4MB on the SD card, it becomes 1MB or less when sent to my phone. I'll try it the way you said and see how they turn out. Thanks again.

Wrens fledged from the end of the garden. Not the best picture as I had to stay in the house until they left the garden.

The spider is a species of Tetragnatha, and possibly Tetragnatha extensa (there are other very similar looking spiders).
They have extremely long legs and can lie completely flat on the underside of leaves and blades of grass. I took the images below a couple of weeks ago:

Your first series of shots of a Damselfly is in fact a Blue-tailed Damselfly, Ischnura elegans.

A nice series of shots all round Nightforce, and I love your image of the Hare.
