Generally, 800 on the longest side is what photo forums look for.

Have a look at pix.ie, gives you simple options for displaying at set different sizes. It's Irish and free.

Great photo at any size though.

I removed the 2nd photo because it was the same size as original
    1342px × 2174px
As whyulittle mentioned, resize to 800px max

Went shooting gulls today, these two guys were hanging out on the quay of the Liffey, sitting around on the wall. I was between 1-2metres away.
The juvenile was calling out for ages

and the adult was very cool altogether

The remains of a redpoll, plucked by my male sparrowhawk (I'm guessing). He should have been fat and tasty with all the nyjer seed I'm feeding them.

Greystones is my old home town and I'm occasionally out there visiting family. Be interested to see the confirmation of your sandpiper ID as I'm pretty sure I saw a bird just like your photo on the South Beach recently. Wish I'd see a redstart!

That little Black Redstart has been in the cove behind the old La Touche
hotel for a couple of months now, must be plenty for it to eat there as
he doesnt seem to be moving on.

Just to confirm that is a Purple Sandpiper! Nice photo of the Black Redstart.

There was a dog running around chasing sticks the last time I was there; I didn't look for anything else. But thanks for that - I might get an earlier train next time I'm going over, and take a bit more time along the seafront.

Wow, some of my pics have become awfully pixelated... they look better on my end.

I think the red bird is a cardinal.

Saw a post on BWI that they are stacking up in north-west Africa at the minute, 6 weeks earlier than normal.

Hi Clearpreso, great photo's from Boston..

First photo is a Red tailed hawk.

Second photo, my guess is that it might be a male Downy Woodpecker, short bill and red dot to back of head.

Third photo is a Northern Cardinal.
