A few snaps taken when these Peregrine Chicks were being ringed!

Another ringer. I probably know you or your name somehow like most ringers in Ireland. :D

Was down along the Shannon again today, and God there was some change from a week or two ago. Thought the ground might be a bit soft from the recent rain, instead it was under feet of water!

Unfortunatly no dodderangler and i haven't seen her since, but my neighbour said that he saw a Sparrowhawk about a week before hand in his garden with a pigeon!

so maybe it was the same one and this is her patch! :p

Left a trail camera on a friends farm for a week, overlooking a stream. I was hopig to catch the resident otters but only got this lot. The pheasant crossed every day at the same time.

I went on the BWI Wicklow & Carlow outing today to the Little Tern Colony. No good news there as we all know. However, we did see 53 different species of birds...The highlight for me was 2 hunting Short-eared Owls spotted by my brother-in-law Stephen, at a huge distance away hence the poor photo quality..

I know ya! must of been at least 15 years since i saw frog spawn last, i took some home only to be told that its illegal to take it because of the dwindling numbers in frogs!

I went back a few days later to put it back! :D
