I have an 01 Audi A3 1.6. Had a problem recently losing coolant from the system via a leak in a temp sensor on the water container. I have an 01 Audi A3 1.6.

Fixed the leak by having a new temp sensor put into the water container.

3 weeks later and i have cooling system warning light flashing after 10/15 mins on the road in the car - on the open road. This will come on a few times during a trip. The coolant level has not dropped since the repair to the container.

Any ideas before i head back to my man in the garage. I seem to vist him quite a bit and am getting low on dough.

Is there a visual temp gauge on the a3 other then a warning light?
