I saw how cheap this card is over in the bargain forums and considering how good I've heard it is I was thinking of getting one. Is there any reason it wouldn't work with the system in my sig (was top of the line in 2004 :P)? And if it would work would it be restricted from performing by the other much older components?
    Thanks for any input.

There really is no point you getting that card as it would be held back by your cpu.

That's what I figured :/ Was hoping for a cheap and easy upgrade.
