    NO NO NO HELL NO...!!!!

    HORRIFIC...!!!

I do like BMW cars but I'm not a fan of their Jeeps, and this one is, by a country mile, the worst one yet.

    No 3.5 litre diesel, it's a 3 litre.
What's the obsession with "more like a car to drive" thing? If that's a good thing then buy a car, they're very like a car to drive! :)

Just to clear things up for you..the car I test drove was the X6 35D as oppossed to the X6 30D. The 35D develops 286HP with its Variable Twin Turbo whereas the the 30D develops 235HP with a single Turbo..With regards to my comment on it being more car like to drive I did not state if that was a good or bad thing what I was trying to get across that you dont have quite the same driving feel as maybe the X5 or Range Rover sport. Its not an obsession thing !!

I know the various diesel engines in the BMW range, you had just put 3.5 in your post, and as most people confuse the 35d as being a 3.5 litre, I assumed you may have done the same. Apologies for the confusion.
And I wasn't having a dig at you necessarily about the "drives like a car" part, but I don't see the point in a half assed 4x4 that's almost as good as a proper off-roader when in the fields, and almost as good as a car on the road. For €100,000 you could get a 535d and a Land Rover Defender and get the excellent off road and on road ability.

Thanks Biro. Agree with you on the 535d it is a great car either saloon or touring version the current model is coming near the end of its lifecycle and due to be replaced 2009/2010 and I have considered one

I think we finally have the equivalent of a Hummer here on Irish roads. Heaven help us all. Drivers all over payed overworked hyped up company reps anyway.

    This too shall pass.
