Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

MotoX essentials like body armour and a HELMET:eek: more than likley would have saved his life.
condolences to the family but a reminder to ALOT of lads i see flying around on dirtbikes without proper clothing

True, but even full gear isn't going to do much for you against a wire trap.

He was unconscious, presumably from a massive head injury. A lid may well have saved his life.

    I hope it wasn't malicious.

A helmet may have saved this teens life but a trap, if this was a trap, such as a wire with any sort of strength could easily end your life by catching a body armour protected rider on the neck. It's disturbing to imagine something like this in a wide open area, such as a field.

Ive heard of this before, it happened to a friend of mine years ago. Damn near took his head off. Its not an isolated thing.

Yes the lad should have had the proper gear, and yes it might have saved him, but if the wire hadnt been there without question he would still be alive.
