    basically i got it in my head i woiuld like to be able to play the violin, and im askin how hard it is i guess also cost etc any info helpful!!

    Good luck taking up the violin OP. I am currently learning to play the keyboard so in the same boat as yourself. Can you read music?

    I have been play the Voilin since 1999, I would recomened the shop Crehans http://www.crehans.ie/ They have a great range and very good quality instruments, Is it trad. or classical music cause I played Both and I now a few places around Dublin.
