Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Guys,

I saw a desmosedicci rr in ranelagh today. First i heard something very unusual off in the distance, next thing the desmo comes around the corner heading towards ashtons pub direction. It sounds gorgeous but IMHO looks crap. I love the pics of it on the net, but in the flesh.. i felt very let down... the 1098 definately is a much better looking bike.
Has anybody else here seen this motor ?
I reckon it would be savage craic to blast around mondello on (assuming you can also afford to replace plastics if you drop it ;) )

that's how I felt when I saw the first 1098. Fine bike. Lovely even. But it looks just like a Red Kawasaki from the front.

You couldn't say that about a 999........imagine - who'd have thought it'd start to look better after they stopped making it?

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

I saw one very briefly in Stillorgan a couple of weeks back. I didn't get enough of a look to verify how well it looks, but it sure did sound amazing!!

There's one around alright, but agree that it looks crap. But i think most bikes that are covered with fairing look crap!
