    Iris Robinson, wife of Northern Ireland's first minister Peter Robinson appeared last night to be struggling to contain the outcry over her remarks made in the House of Commons in which she said homosexuality was "viler" than child abuse.:mad:

    She issued a statement yesterday denying that she thought gay sex was worse than pedophilia. She was reacting to a report of her comments in the Commons when she said during a debate on managing sex offenders: "There can be no viler act, apart from homosexuality and sodomy, than sexually abusing children.":eek:

    This woman is without doubt the vilest of all. Is there no level that she’ll delve down to in feeding her bigoted mind set.
    She must miss her old life when her religious and racist bigotry were good enough to satisfy her appetite but of course that’s not PC anymore. Well out in the open anyway, you can imagine what fish face, says behind closed doors! :P

    Good old iris has now talked her way into resignation.

    As an east belfast resident I have been assured by my local MP that she cannot remain in office.

    Lets look upon this as a very good thing. Finally the people of northern ireland are more concerned about the rights of minority groups than any kind of tribal, sectarian, antiquated mind sets.

    Belfast is a very gay friendly city. Why not consider coning up for pride next weekend. Lets show Iris and her type who is the minority.
