Anyone use a Belkin F5D8631 on Eircom?

    As the title says does anyone have one of these working on eircom DSL
    I've tried to get it working several times, I have copied the the settings exactly from my eircom supplied netopia 2247 but despite syncing up no problem I get a "Login Failed" when it tries to authenticate and so a WAN IP is not obtained.
    The funny thing is if I default and reprogram it will connect the first time but if it is power cycled or disconnected from the line it will not reconnect.

    As I mentioned it syncs up fine but it cant seem to login.
    I'm using eircom@eircom.net as the user and eircom as the password

    I want to use this as the eircom modem is crap

    Max Allowed Speed 3072 / 384
    SN Margin 12.5 / 21.00
    Line Attenuation 32.00 / 17.50
    CRC Errors 254 / 3


    The belkin gets an SNR of 27 with the same attenuation and I just know that the netopia is probably not going to be able for the speed increases.
