Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, I have a question, Do you guys know if a landlord can keep adding people to a house he has rented? The house next door to me / attached now has 10 people living in it and the noise eg the constant banging of doors and running up and down stairs is unreal. Its a house that is never at rest no matter what day it is and i cant take much more. I had trouble with the landlord before regarding numbers in his house it was 11last time. They had a tent setup at the back of the house and would move from the tent to the house as a room became vacant. They would often use the back garden as a loo... not very nice when you have your kids in the back bedroom. The landlord did help sort the problem last time and kind of agreed to make sure there would be no loud music next time we had music 24/7). I did say it to him about the sub letting and that it was causing my family problems. We dont have loud music now but we are almost at a 11 people in a 3 bed house again all (NN). It started off with a man a women 2 kids and now its just gone on and on and we have a 10 people in the house now - its like a bucket of worms the moving around never stops. PRTB were no help more or less said the numbers dont come into it - i asked about health and safety and they said the best they would do is inspect the house nothing more.I work hard and i think i have the right to rest in my home - i cant afford to move and i feel trapped with this rented house beside me for the last 14 years (14 years of hell) Any Advice? Thanks, Nightshift

    Go see a solicitor.

Talk to the housing department in your local council. They may consider the house inappropriate for the number of people on public health grounds and require the landlord to reduce the numbers.
