    Hi,

I wonder if anyone could advise me of the points on scale I would be given after my qualifications as a teacher would be recognised by Teaching Council?

My first level of study was Teachers Training College (3 yrs) Bachelors Degree, then I have completed 2 years course at the university and hold Masters Degree in German,(which I believe is the equivalent of your Higher Diploma or is it Master in Education?) with specialization in methodics of german teaching.
This entitles me to work at all educational levels in Poland (primary & secondary) I've been teaching for 6 years now, working with children from the age of 10-15, but most recently and for the longest period with teenagers (15-19) preparing them for Leaving Certificate, if they've decided to choose german as one of the subjects (in Poland one of the foreign languages is obligatory on LC).

Thanks for any suggestions and advice. Or does maybe any other EU teacher made his own experiences in registering as a teacher in Ireland and starting to work in school?

    Many Thanks,

    Aggie
