    Has to be Granard

There a scene in Micheal Collins set in Granard and it is pretty much the same now as it was back in 1916!

Theres nothing wrong with the town.

Those Rathmullen RFC folk are what's wrong with the town. :p even if they do average an IQ/age of 15

I voted Kilkenny, I remember trying to camp in a farmers field a few years ago and getting a bit of bother

Portlaoise - by a country mile. A piece of grafitti I saw on a train once said it all " Please do not use the toilets when the train is stationary ........except at Portlaoise." :D

I always said I would nuke Longford (county not town) so I can't go back on that now.

Cork, Cause of all of this "People's Republic" ****e

Cork rocks, and they have better accents than you :D

The more salient question would be:
Where in Ireland would you actually not nuke?

Its hard one...I cant choose between Cork or Dublin. If it was a town it would have to be Tipp Town. Probably the most depressing place in the world.

Drove through Tuam this morning, no bomb dropped there yet.:(

    Leixlip!

Nobody living in Kildare has an excuse for having a skanger accent.
Blah forget their accents, the way they dress bothers me. I see Leixlip as the next Neilstown but I could never nuke it.

That's a tough one alright. I would say supposed if I was pushed it would be Sligo. It can be a depressing town and doesn't really offer anything regarding the music I like. Right now it is almost like a ghost town. Last night it most definitely was. A close second would be Longford in that it seems to be filled with very pretentious people (not sure why!!!). Also Enniskillen is another possibility in that it seems very alien, people rarely talk to you and you are constantly getting the feeling that you really shouldn't be there. (had to mention it even though it's not on the list) A nuclear holocaust is definitely being considered right now.

Moate (even though it's bypassed now - years of bein 'stuck' there are not easily forgotten.)
    Same goes for Ennis.

    Tuam is pretty horrible, too.

    Oh, and Gort.

Somebody mentioned Boyle. Spot on. Dive of a place. My family are from Frenchpark, not a million miles away- and we hate Boyle with a passion.

I'd rather be boiled in oil than oiled in Boyle as they say.

Cork, Cause of all of this "People's Republic" ****e

Even better when they put 'Freestate Mick' on their Peoples Republic shirts. It's the 'real capital of Ireland' don't you know  Down their yesterday, the people are a good laugh actually- I'm fond of the place deep down....but don't tell anyone that. Worth a weekend break at least.

    I cant read,
    and I can't write
    But that doesn't really matter.
    I support 'Cark' City
and I can drive a tractor....

A 3-way tie between Granard, Tuam, and Letterkenny.

    All of them are shítholes.

    Whole county

With a really big nuke to make sure you completely burn the chip of their shoulder

I think 70% of Culchies have a similar huge chip on their shoulder when they come upto Dublin. They seem to presume that we automatically think that they're as thick as dogsh!te and inferior to us.

    We dont.

    That comes later ;)
