Terrible pings from IBB 3mb DSL

PIngs are grand during the day but after 7pm they go seriously downhill. Anybody else experiencing this or should i give them a call.

Got it for gaming but its more like bad 56k pings!!!

looks like a congestion/contention problem

i had this problem with digiweb dsl b4 and moved to eircom and it never happened again

which is weird

Ill test mine when I get home but usually my pings have never gone above 20ms to HEAnet

Were you using a lot of bandwidth at the time?
That can cause latency to go crazy.

No had no up or down traffic at the time.


Back to normal now during the day.

post a traceroute to boards.ie when ur home later!:)
