Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was listening to an excellent interview of Peter O'toole on rte 1 at lunchtime.
Its mentioned on the site but no link to the actual interview?
    http://www.rte.ie/radio1/inpublic/

When are such things updated or is there and archive available for rte radio programmes?

It's up on the site now. They generally have stuff up within 24 hours or so.

    Direct link to the interview

RTÉ archives a lot of its stuff which can be played back using RealPlayer.

Absolutely excellent interview, with Peter O Toole , legend of the silver screen, which went on for almost an hour. Pleasure to hear the old boy speak. This interview for me is what Rte radio 1 should be doing on a regular basis, even if they must dip into the archives, it was nice for a change to hear someone who has a subtantial body of work behind them speak with such authority rather than the flash in the pans you hear from all the time these days.
