    Hi all,

A truck hit my ford esscort 98 and bent the back.
so when i went to fix it I was quoted 2500 euro to fix so it was a total lost as the car it only worth 1800.
so my question is where is the best place to get money for the parts seeing as the car is in perfect working order except for the back brake light and the trunk.
and how much do you think i can get for it + some one taking it away...

    much appreciated
    Ilan

The parts would not be worth a whole lot really. You might get someone to take it away and give you a few hundred.

would you know (have a phone number or name) of some one or a company that deals with that..? or do you know where can I look to find it my-self?

Stick it on the buy & sell for a realistic few hundred and you might get someone.

Maybe give these companies a ring and see what they offer you. If it's repairable with low enough mileage you should get a few 100 for it.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles to avoid the DRS fee.

Best of luck anyway, I'm assuming you got some money off the trucks insurance so any more is a bonus.

Usually if an insurance company pays out on a write off they can claim ownership of the wreck, but often if it is an old car like your escort they won't bother. Just something to keep an eye out for.
