She mentioned last week that they are definitely finished.
I think her and connie were just a phase. I doubt that she would be hooking up with another woman. Its men all the way for her now..

I am also warming to Turlough  though I think he may not be all as nice as he is acting... I like his partnership with Bob and I find the Neasa thing okay but they need to slow it down, pairing them up too quickly..

Good to see Louie back :D

Anyway, I'm loving turlough this time too..and Bob of course...not gettin the whole Neasa vibe though - that girl could have anyone she wants and she picks a man 20yrs older than her, with no job, and in a wheelchair:confused: Another storyline not making much sense to me anyway!

Yay! I am delighted that so many are starting to enjoy the delights of Turlough this time around and think that he and Bob are fantastic. Just can't wait for Bob vs Louis part II to kick off.

Spoilers and what spoilers they are :eek:

          Sunday
Bob pretends to Turlough that his only concern is Christy's happiness. Turlough admits that he hasn't spoken to Neasa since Thursday. Wayne gives out to his mother for giving €5,000 to Lucy. She tells him she doesn't need permission to give Lucy money. She then kicks Wayne out of the house. In the Dillons' house, Caoimhe celebrates her birthday with her family. Dearbhla tells her that she should let her parents know that Decco is coming. Decco tells Caoimhe and Denzo how much he likes Caoimhe and how she is a classy lady. Vivienne hides her concern.

Christy reveals to Tommy how Turlough used to be a medium, conned people out of money and slept with Bob's partner. Wayne tells Pete that he is going to track down Lucy and for him to get Dolores to cancel the cheque. Neasa tells her mum that she hasn't been honest and feels she needs to confess all to Turlough. Louie is delighted to see Carol back from her night away with Christy. But this soon turns to anger when he learns they booked the wedding venue. Judith calls to The Hungry Pig for the food and learns from Vivienne that Caoimhe invited Decco.

In McCoys, Dolores tells Pete that she gave the money because of Jessica. Bob approaches Carol and Christy and starts to talk about the wedding. He insinuates that Christy can’t keep a wife and Christy bans him. He is confused at Carol's anger for him barring Bob. Back at the Dillons' house Tommy tells Judith about Turlough's past. He goes ballistic when he then learns that Decco has been invited to the party but Judith begs him not to do anything. Neasa tells Turlough everything about her past and how Bob tried to blackmail her. Turlough is disgusted with Bob.

Wayne calls to Dolores's house and while Pete admits that they’ll never see the money again the main thing is that it made Dolores happy remembering Jessica. Tommy confronts Neasa about Turlough's past but she fights with him. In the background Decco is distraught to see Caoimhe flirt with Dean. After Caoimhe blows out the candles, they go outside and Dean steals a kiss much to Decco's disgust. Then Decco's surprise of a hummer pulls up and all the Dillons laugh. A mortified Decco warns them to stop laughing. A rattled Caoimhe and Dean get into the hummer and head for town. Decco heads back to the apartment and takes his anger out on Denzo.

Turlough tells Bob that he is kicking him out of the house for what he did to Neasa. Bob pleads with him not to. He tells Bob that he is sick of him playing the victim. He extracts a promise from Bob that he will do nothing about Louie and Carol's affair. Neasa and Turlough make up.

          Tuesday
Christy plans a romantic birthday meal for Carol and she is thrown and tries to persuade him not to. Bob and Neasa argue over what is best for him, with Turlough pointing out that he can make those decisions himself. Bob secretly is alarmed that he is being pushed out of Turlough's life. In the Dillons' house, Tommys announces to a delighted family that he has got the go-ahead for the farmers' market and will be selling fruit and veg every Sunday from now on. He is put out when no-one offers to help him. Dean is persuaded by Finn to go running with him.

Bob suggests that Christy should organise a photo with him and Carol in their Bloomsday gear and Bob listens to him. In Phelans, Carol stalls when Christy puts pressure on her to send wedding invitations out to everyone. Dean reassures Caoimhe that he wants to meet her again and Finn ends up persuading both of them to go for a sprint with him. In Turlough's home, he expresses his concern to Neasa that he is coming between her and her dad. She tells him not to worry and she doesn’t need approval from her parents.

Christy is taken aback with Louie's abruptness when he refuses to take a wedding invitation from Christy saying he’s in a hurry. In McCoys, Carol and Louie realise that they have to tell Christy about their affair. She reassures Christy that she is committed to their relationship. Judith and Tommy argue over Turlough and she fails to reassure him that Neasa will get bored of Turlough. She tells him not to take his upset about Neasa's behaviour out on the rest of them. Turlough and Neasa talk about their future. Neasa reveals that she would like to be an interior designer. They decide to move in together but Turlough insists that Neasa discusses it with her parents first.

Dean finds out he’s not as fit as Caoimhe or Dean and struggles to keep up during their run. They meet Dearbhla and she sees that Caoimhe is serious about Dean. Bela and Leo make Carol feel guilty when they tell her how lucky Christy is to have found her after the heartbreak with Renee. Neasa calls to the Dillons' home and tells her delighted dad that she'd like to get involved in the farmers' market. They ultimately end up fighting about Turlough and Neasa storms out. Carol arrives back in Phelans and sees that Christy has organised a special birthday dinner for her. His kindness causes her to back out of breaking up with him.

          Wednesday
Carol covers when Christy questions her preoccupation. In McCoys, Louie frantically tries to contact Carol as he thinks she has broken up with Christy. He gets a shock when Christy arrives in to McCoys and realises that she has not told him the truth. Tommy is delighted when his children finally become enthusiastic to helping him with his new stall. Bob is annoyed that Neasa is spending too much time in their house and feels she is taking over Turlough.

Dean feels like he is wasting his life and is inspired to set up a small stall with Tommy. They agree to go play pool together with Finn. Carol meets a furious Louie who tells her he is sick of her putting Louie's feelings before his. Turlough announces that he is going to travel around the world with Neasa when he is better. Bob tells him he won't be able to walk by the summer but Turlough refutes this. Christy realises that he has Carol's purse and goes to McCoys to return it to her. He goes to the living room and sees Louie and Carol kissing. He cries as his heart breaks that the love of his life is kissing another man. Shocked, he leaves the bar.

Caoimhe coerces Dean into making cakes for Tommy's stall. Tommy also persuades Dean that he needs to chase his dream. Caoimhe offers to help Dean with the business side of it. Judith is delighted when she learns that her children are getting involved with the stall. Neasa calls in and Judith realises that Turlough is the one for her. Dean plays pool with Finn, Tommy and Leo. Dean heckles Finn when he leaves the game early and they agree to another match. A delighted and cocky Dean wins the game.

Carol arrives back in Phelans and meets Christy. She asks if he’s okay and he pretends nothing is up. He is confused when she hands him the invite list that she has done up for the wedding. Turlough asks Bob to treat Neasa with the respect she deserves. He is not pleased when he learns he may have to leave the house so Turlough and Neasa can move in together permanently. On his own, Christy beaks down and silently cries and crumbles.

          Thursday
In Phelans, Christy writes Carol her birthday card and hands it to her announcing that he is now going to close the shop for half a day to bring her out for lunch. Caught out, she tells him she wants to go shopping on her own and he becomes suspicious of her motives. Neasa is extremely suspicious when she meets a very happy Bob. She warns Turlough that he is up to something. Carol calls in to Louie's and announces that she has booked a table for them to have lunch together. Finn notes to Dean how mad Caoimhe is about him, but Dean denies this saying they are only having fun.

Christy closes up Phelans and catches Louie getting into a taxi. He approaches Leo and asks him where Louie is going. When he learns that he is going to a restaurant, his mind races. Judith organises a special family lunch and welcomes Neasa back with open arms. But Tommy feels differently. She tells her dad that she bought material with Turlough for the market and Tommy refuses point blank to have anything to do with it. At the Italian restaurant, Carol and Louie share loving moments and express their delight at how they’re going to spend their future together.

Tommy praises Dean to Leo saying how talented he is and what a pity it is that he has such a hard time with the bank. Leo approaches Dean and tells him that he should have come to him if he needed help. Later, Caoimhe helps Dean with his business plan. Carol arrives back to the shop and is shocked to see her bag packed. She thinks she has been caught out but he surprises her with a trip to visit Ali and Lorcan in Leeds. In McCoys, Tommy announces to the community that they are all invited to the new farmers' market. He approaches Neasa and Turlough with an olive branch asking them to participate with the stall.

Louie learns that Carol is going away and he accuses her of being a cowardice. They leave on bad terms. Bob approaches Neasa and tells her that he intends to leave the house soon and calls for a truce with an uneasy Neasa. Later, he approaches Turlough with an outline of his business plan where he would write a book about their lives and they could tour giving motivational talks. He refuses to get involved.

Leo offers to give Dean his 22% share of the garage but Dean refuses to take it. Bob calls to Tommy's house asking if he could have a stand in the farmers' market as Turlough is going to kick him out and he needs some money. Christy cryptically warns Louie that he will fight for Carol.

Saw this on the Fair City twitter:

Set Spy: Carol has a new fancy hair do which man in her life is she trying to impress, or does she feel a bit of competition coming on?

FAIR CITY actress Sarah McDowell has revealed she felt her domestic abuse storyline "went too far".

Sarah, who plays Suzanne Doyle, admitted she was very apprehensive about taking on the controversial plot which saw her physically abuse her on-screen husband Damien.

And she added that the explosive scenes left her exhausted. Sarah said: "I think it went too far, she was constantly beating him. It was so exhausting. It was really horrible shooting the scenes. "When I got the scripts and read the things I was saying, I couldn't believe it. The verbal abuse was nearly worse. I was kind of going, 'God she's become really evil,' but I just had to go with it.

"I was really worried about it and my mum was really worried about it but actually everyone was really complimentary towards me so that was great." In particular, she says, the reaction from members of the public has been surprisingly positive.

"There were a few people kind of going, 'oh good on you'. We got a lot of email reaction into the office and that was really positive. We had a few men saying they had been there and that it was really good to give it a voice," she added.

But while her soap marriage has fallen apart following the controversial storyline, in reality life has never been better for the newlywed.

The actress, who has featured on the RTE soap for over 20 years, wed her long-term boyfriend Laurence Flood last May at a romantic ceremony in Roscommon. Decked out in a Kathy de Stafford gown, the soap star later celebrated her nuptials with a reception in the nearby Kilronan Castle, Ballyfarnon, with a number of Sarah's Carrigstown colleagues, including her TV hubby Maclean Burke.

The couple have a two-year-old daughter, Jennifer, and have been together for more than seven years after meeting during in Australia.

"I'm married since May, it's great," Sarah told the Herald. "I'm almost up to a year now, God it's mad it's gone by so quickly. Because I was so working so much last year it just flew by."

Top model Vivienne Connolly (35) is in talks with RTE bosses about a part in Fair City.

And while the mum-of-two is already a familiar face on the social scene, she is set to become a household name if she lands a role on the hit soap.

The catwalk queen, who split with her husband Mark Dunne (36) last year, has thrown herself into her acting career and has been meeting with show bosses to discuss a recurring role on the show, set in the fictitious Dublin suburb of Carrigstown.

But Vivienne was remaining tight-lipped this morning about her involvement with the show, saying: "To be honest, there's nothing confirmed yet, so I can't even give you a comment."

While little is known about the new role up for grabs in Fair City, it would throw her even further into the limelight.
