Anybody know where to get a good TV? What brands to look for?

I'm hoping to buy a nice black HD TV about €500ish mark, cheaper if possible

Moved from Television to Home Entertainment....

The television forum is for discussing shows rather than the units themselves.

You could get a 32 inch samsung piano black in powercity for around €599last week be my choice, its only half HD but still really good, the speakers are its only week point. Sometimes Dunnes stores sell this model too.

If you can afford a nice panasonic TV go for it!
You won't get a full HD set for the money. The mirai set xtra vision sells get good reviews, i don't know anything about them. but they sell for under or around €500.

I would also try looking at richer sounds, they have a forum here and they are generally the best price, and best equipment.

    Hey all,

    I just bought this yesterday:
    https://www.did.ie/samsung-55-ultra-hd-crystal-view-hdr-smart-tv-carbon-silver-ue55tu7100kxxu-ue55tu7100kxxu-prd

I have a gig Virgin line in the TV room with an ethernet cable running from the PC router to the TV itself.

Is there a way to 'stream' or access PC content onto the TV from the PC?

    Thanks!
