Decision Time; Taping vs Skimming?

    Folks,

    Decision time for me as regards taping & filling p/board vs skimming. Would appreciate any views/opinions as to how I should proceed. Thanks, boots

    Skim them, you'll get a way better finish to the walls, and should not really be that much more expensive than taping and jointing.
    T&J takes a good while to do, and you'd have them skimmed in the same time.
    Just make sure you get a good plasterer, one that will take care with sockets, downlights etc, and leaves everything clean, neat and tidy - get recommendations.
    Only the cheapest of the cheap dog box type developers do T&J nowadays, the skim will always stand to the house....
