Anyone hear of people photocoping tax discs?

    Anyone ever hear of people photocopying tax discs and changing the details to suit their car?
    does this really work?
    would the gaurds not pick up on this?
    also when they cheak the car it would show up that its not taxed??
    crazy stuff happening in this country of ours

    It was done years ago, but there's a reflective strip on them now.

    The discs these days have water marks afaik.

    I can see the door being closed on thread swiftly. :D

    The only way to do it is to get your hands on the Plates used for printing the discs and print them off a press if you want to get away with it but that would cost you a fortune.

    You know, if you photocopy enough €5 notes, you'll soon have enough "money" to buy a legitimate tax disk.

    Gets you around that pesky reflective strip...
