    Seems like everyone and their mother can play the guitar. I tried once.. but quickly gave up.

    not that many people play guitar.....

    Loads of people attempt to learn guitar but quit once they hit a C chord...

    Yeah but I prefere the bass tbh, I play a lot of jazz :)

    If it helps make me look like less of a loser I am buying a fretless bass soon! :D

    I play guitar, bass, sitar, a little bit of piano (im useless at it actually) and drums. Really wana get a cello next, great sound, very classy.

    I've played for about 14 years. Never approached it very studiously, so still playing alot of pentatonic improvisations. Still, after 14 years of them, I can make it sound pretty good:D Played bass occasionally and a I play the drums (poorly) too.

    I like to think I can. Every few weeks I listen Comfortably Numb, decide Im going to finally nail the solo, then falter trying to learn the chords :o I can play some songs, but mostly I learn half songs. I can play guitar hero really well, to sum up!

    am going to buy a mandolin soon to learn that. And want to learn to play violin too, but i think that's out of my current grasp, i've never played anything that doesn't have frets.
