Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well I was wondering how I go about arranging a full license motorcycle test. I have been riding for a few months now and would like to get the full license asap.

Sorry I don't know much about all this and the people around me aren't sure what to do about motorcycles. I'd guess...tax office? Just want to know before I go in. And what does a motorcycle test involve? I don't think someone will jump on the back

That made me laugh! I applied for my test last November, have rung the RSA 3 times and I am still waiting for a date to do my test! Raheny seems to be the shortest wait to get a test date but that still takes months!

Good luck with the test by the way, and my advise is to get a recommended instructor because you don't want to have to wait to do it again! Remember your 2 year restriction is from teh date of your full licence not the provisional...

Also, from the date they decide to post it out not the date you pass your test...

but that sounds like it is a while off at any rate. Who knows, they might have hired someone more efficient by then.

I've applied for and undertaken the test TWICE since then......(passed the second time) Once Raheny and once Finglas...I reckon you'd better get on the phone to them !!

    Feck Off :p

Rang them in February to be told that they don't do tests until March when the weather improves. They only do 1 week at a time due to lack of testers and they only do 1 test at a time because the radios they have are single frequency and would cause inference if more than 1 radio was on the go.

Rang them in May to see whay was happening and was told that no tests were scheduled because car drivers were higher priority due to the change in the law and the fact that they wanted to reduce waiting times.

Rang them last week and they basically hadn't a clue. Said that it would be at least September before I got called, that there were no cancellation slots available and that the average wait was now a year.

    Not a happy bunny!

    And congratulations by the way
