Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi there,

I'm trying to do a clean up of all the network shared directories on the company network and the access rights of users within the office.. to be honest, its all a bit of a mess and I would love to start from scratch but I just don't have the time.. :(

Does anyone know a tool out there that would allow me to scan all directories and get a list of all users/groups who have access to each directory and what level of access they have?

This is in a Windows 2003 Server environment by the way.

    Thanks,
    Tox

    Go to this website

    http://www.somarsoft.com/

    Use the tool dumpsec.
It will list every folder (and files -if you want!) and tell you what the ntfs permissions are for each folder.
I only used it the other day, and looks like it will be a very handy tool!
