Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi

We been using DynAdvance mail notifier for a while so when we get an email on Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail we get a pop-up notification on the task bar, since last week when I install the latest Security updates for WinXP it doesn't work any longer I get the message "Internet access Error" I checked the firewall and disabled it also antivirus but same problem, also uninstalled the 3 security updates install and no luck. What I also noticed that since them all the passwords I had saved in Internet Explorer 7 are not longer saved and been asked again to save.

Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be.

Or is there a similar alternative (better free) to be notified when a new e-mail arrives.

On reply to my own post I found WebMail Notifier a Firefox add-on. that does as I need.
